Free Admission. No Booking Required.

Drop-In workshop in the Learning Resource Room, National Museum of Ireland

Drop into the Learning Resource Room at the Museum and learn how to think like an archaeologist by solving our puzzle.

Take a close look and handle each of our Viking replica artefacts. Figure out what they are, how they were used and what they are made from. Use the Viking Age Artefact Detective activity sheet to fill in all of the answers.

If you would like to find out more about Viking Are Ireland, check out the Museum's Viking Ireland exhibition or our range of resources for at home or in the classroom in our Museum at Home section.

No booking required. Located in the Learning Resource Room, First Floor. Not wheelchair accessible. This workshop is for families. Children must be fully supervised by a parent or adult who is in loco parentis.

There is no booking required, and you can take part in the activity at any time, and for however long you wish.
