CANCELLED: Halloween Crafts: Spooky Origami!
Admission Free | Booking Required
Visitor notice - We regret to advise visitors that the planned Halloween events at the National Museum of Ireland, Turlough Park, have been reduced this year due to ongoing industrial action. Unfortunately, some of our popular seasonal activities will not take place this year, including the Halloween workshops, storytelling tours and both the indoor and outdoor Halloween trails.
However, we are open throughout the Midterm holidays and admission, as always, is free. We welcome everyone to enjoy a family day out this Midterm with our award-winning exhibition galleries, autumn walks in the beautiful gardens of Turlough Park, the woodland playground, the Greenway cycle route, the café in the courtyard and the gift shop.
Get creative this Halloween with a frightfully fun arts and crafts session led by artist Lindsay McConnell!
Using just paper, scissors, glue and a little clever folding, participants will create their own fang-tastic Halloween decorations to take home. Choose between making a scary skull or a petrifying pumpkin - complete with a moving mouth that opens and closes.
Perfect for families, this hands-on workshop is a great way to unleash your creativity and celebrate the Halloween season.
There are three sessions available to book, with each workshop lasting approximately 45 minutes.
Please note: All materials are provided. Children must be accompanied by an adult and supervised throughout the activity.
