Welcome to the Bookings page for the National Museum of Ireland at Merrion Street, home to the Museum’s natural history Collections.
The National Museum at Merrion Street is currently closed for refurbishment and there are no onsite visits or programming taking place.
However, the Dead Zoo Lab is now open in the National Museum of Ireland at Collins Barracks in Dublin 7. Groups are welcome to visit the Lab as part of their visit to Collins Barracks, but booking is essential. Please note that bookings do not guarantee immediate access to the Dead Zoo Lab and visitors may have to queue before entering the Lab. Booking is not required for families, individuals, and small social groups.

Please be aware if you intend to also visit the main history and decorative arts exhibitions, that there may be a need for some closures of those exhibitions in the coming months, and you will need to check back with us closer to the time if those exhibitions are open and to arrange a visit of them.
