Till we turn to ash: Silver, bronze

A child who is not embraced by the village will burn it down to feel its warmth. Proverb of Nigerian origin.

Although often read as a warning, when is love ever malicious? Those old enough to bear the responsibility of love understand its difficulty; it is heartbreak and yet still we try again, that is love. We all exist at different stages of this responsibility: some too young to know it, some just old enough to hold another, and some burnt yet loving more fiercely because of it. Love is not lonely. Look to your reflection and consider how will you bear that responsibility and how will you love?
