Learn the art of calming and creative Summer Calligraphy with Mellor & Rose at National Museum of Ireland, Kildare Street on Thursday, May 21st 2026 from 6 – 8PM.

During this workshop, we’ll learn fundamentals of calligraphy using a fine brush pen (pen is yours to keep and practice with!) including how to hold the pen, pressure strokes, rhythm, letterforms, script alphabet, themed decorative illustrations all using our Mellor & Rose Calligraphy workbook with seasonally themed stationery items!  Workshop Hosts: Mellor & Rose is a family-run collective of women lettering artists dedicated to sharing the joy of calligraphy for its beauty and its calming, mindful benefits. Founded in 2018 by Beverley Mellor and now led by sisters Polly and Lucy Mellor, the studio works across Manchester, London, and beyond. They provide calligraphy and hand‑lettering services for brands and clients, and host Modern Calligraphy, Brush Lettering, and Chalk Lettering workshops at venues throughout the UK and Ireland. All workshops use FSC‑ and PEFC‑certified paper stock.
