Warm up your Irish history in the Museum this November with our range of free guided tours!
Learn about the changing shape of Ireland over 100 years of history in our brand new Changing Ireland tours, From Revolution to Repeal: An Introduction to Changing Ireland and Sliotars, Sashes and Symbols: Shaping Irish Identity. Irish soldier's involvement in World War I will be examined in Recovered Voices on Saturday 15th November to mark Armistice Day commemorations.
Join us on Sunday 30th November for our Christmas Family Fun Day and feast your eyes on the Museum's collections on our Eat, Drink and Be Merry tour. Join Museum guide Declan for a tour on the history of food and drink through the collections of Collins Barracks.
Tours will begin in Reception at Collins Barracks. Booking is not required (with the exception of 'Life, Disease, and Death' Bram Stoker Festival tours which must be prebooked). Places on all other tours are limited and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Children must be fully supervised by a parent or guardian while on the premises.
